Stephen AndersonStephen F. Anderson, President of Anderson-davis, Inc., est. 1980, is an innovator in the design and delivery of effective sexual harassment, investigation, and diversity training programs since 1972. He has trained over 140,000 employees in the public, private, military, and academic sectors. Since 1984, Mr. Anderson has been retained as an expert witness in sexual harassment and sex discrimination court cases. Stephen’s sexual harassment training has been featured on 20/20, TV Asahi, Japan and Oprah. Mr. Anderson has written and produced award-winning sexual harassment video-based and eLearning courses for over twenty years. Stephen has been a member of SHRM and CHRA since 2001.

 

Benisa BerryBenisa Berry has over 15 years professional experience and a multidisciplinary background in organizational psychology, law and social welfare. Dr. Berry specializes in developing programs that strategically manage employee relations and organizational performance, facilitate corporate integrity and reduce risk exposure/litigation costs. In addition to having extensive experience in facilitating leadership development and diversity training programs in public, private and non-profit settings, Dr. Berry has managed ethics and compliance training for over 90,000 employees and physicians for a major healthcare organization. Dr. Berry is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology and is a licensed attorney in the State of California. She also serves on the faculty at Alliant International University.

 

Effley BrooksEffley N. Brooks III, MBA has over a decade of experience in creating and delivering dynamic workshops, keynote addresses, and training sessions on diversity, conflict management, communication, public speaking, and strategic collaboration in the private, nonprofit, academic and public sectors. He has trained thousands of professionals nationally and internationally. Effley currently directs leadership development programs for professionals through the University of Colorado at Denver and a local foundation. Effley received the Human Rights award of 2000, as well as an award from Mayor of Denver, Wellington Webb for, "fighting hate and discrimination and endeavoring to make Denver a Safe City." Mr. Brooks was also a member of the NHL/USA Hockey Diversity Task Force for two years.

 

Claire BrownDr. Claire Brown is a consultant, seminar leader and author specializing in diversity management, equal employment opportunity, gender communication, preventing sexual harassment, and human resources. Her professional background includes over 16 years' experience directing organizations managing diversity and EEO/AA at AT&T and corporate-wide at Lucent Technologies. She provided services such as discrimination case investigations and methodologies, policy, global diversity strategies and implementation, and EEO and diversity course curriculum and training. She spent 5 years as an Ombudsperson at AT&T utilizing organizational development skills to implement change management processes, mentoring programs, and career development training. Her University of Denver doctorate focused on male/female workplace communication. Dr. Brown has been a guest lecturer at universities and conferences across the US. She is co-editor of the book Conflict and Diversity and has authored several journal and newsletter articles.


Nancy Campbell is a highly skilled facilitator, consultant, trainer, coach, and author with 25 years experience in private, public, and educational sectors. She has been a manager, human resources consultant, and seminar leader with organizations such as William M. Mercer and the American Management Association. She has extensive international experience and is a respected practitioner known for her intensive preparation, thoughtful approach and ability to synthesize and clarify information. She is passionate about combining the ideal and practical to solve organizational problems in a down-to-earth, real world, common sense way.

 

Susan CarabelloSusan Carabello has over 20 years experience in working with groups of people in business, government and non-profits to achieve high levels of awareness and ethical standards in their interactions with one another. She combines her background in psychology, mediation and organizational development to create and facilitate state of the art trainings that focus on integrity, emotional intelligence and respectful treatment of all in the workplace. Susan has worked with Fortune 500 companies such Ernst and Young, AT &T, Lucent Technologies and Accenture as well as government agencies such as NASA, public education systems, and multiple non-profits. Susan teaches interactive leadership courses, practices executive coaching and facilitates organizations, teams, leaders and individuals to achieve their goals while holding high standards around equity, diversity and harassment issues. Donna ColdingDonna Colding, MBA, a developmental specialist for twenty-two years, focuses on personal and organizational development; the art of reinventing oneself; strategic planning, and organizational behavior modification. A graduate of Rockhurst University Executive Fellows, Colding has earned certification through Achieve Global, Center for Creative Leadership, and The Kennedy School of Public Administration.

Ms. Colding is a prolific writer, recognized for her out-of-the-box, innovative solutions to problems that challenge or impede the development and growth of individuals, organizations, communities, and businesses. She was the recipient of the 2000 US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) National Best Practice Award in Economic Development. In addition Donna has facilitated training and hosted groups from Russia, South Africa, and Central America.

 

Lesley Beth CurtisLesley Beth Curtis has specialized in plaintiff-side labor, employment and education law since 1997. Prior to that, she served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Elaine Watters of the Sonoma County Superior Court in a multiple defendant capital trial. She is a partner with Langenkamp & Curtis, LLP in Sacramento, California, where she represents employees in a wide range of employment issues, including issues dealing with discrimination and harassment, in state court, before private arbitrators, before the California State Office of Administrative Hearings, and before the Third District Court of Appeal. Ms. Curtis is also a California Teachers Association Group Legal Services Attorney, and as such she frequently performs training sessions for teachers on a variety of education and employment issues, including sexual harassment in the workplace.

 

John GibsonJohn Gibson has a more than a two decade history of training and consulting in multicultural frameworks in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania. Mr. Gibson currently consults with a wide range of companies, educational institutions and non-profits on cross-cultural behavior/communication business issues. John has taught and delivered trainings in a diversity of settings ranging from villages to universities. His first (Honors) degree in Sociology was awarded by the University of London (England), he received a Masters degree in International Relations from San Francisco State University and is currently completing a doctorate in International Politics from the Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver.

 

Joe GonzalesJoe Gonzales is a mediator, trainer and facilitator who has worked for over 20 years providing organizational assistance to a wide range of corporate and community clients. He designs and facilitates strategic planning processes that define collaborative solutions to directly address organizational disputes and investigations, especially sexual/hostile workplace or other harassment issues. His work includes developing and delivering trainings to address specific organizational concerns; mediating staff disputes; and, designing specific organizational dispute intervention strategies. Training topics include consensus building, mediation skills, diversity/safe working place topics, and conflict intervention techniques.

 

Charles HackneyCharles Hackney is a consultant and human resources professional specializing in equal opportunity, diversity program development and compliance, management training, diversity surveys, performance management and workplace investigations. His professional background includes over 14 years managing EEO/AA compliance and discrimination cases with AT&T and Lucent Technologies. He is also a certified employment recruiter and job accommodations specialist. He has conducted numerous workshops, seminars and presentations on EEO and diversity topics including employment discrimination, sexual harassment and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). At Lucent he teamed with the law department to develop a disability reference guide as a tool for resolving ADA issues. He holds a Marketing degree from Georgia State University; he completed the Cornell University EEO Professional Certificate Program and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the Society for Human Resources
Management.

 

Lynne HallLynne Hall has over 25 years experience in training, facilitation, and change development processes. Her work with individuals and organizations focuses on the enhancement of performance and reduction of workplace stressors. Key is her work with communication skills across gender, ethnicity, age and cultures; as well as prevention of sexual harassment, development of equal employment and promotional opportunity and personal responsibility and accountability in the workplace. Lynne has worked in the private, non-profit, academic and public sectors. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern California and is a licensed psychologist in the State of California. Through her administrative work in post-secondary education, and as an independent consultant to outside agencies, she has conducted sexual harassment and hostile workplace investigations, providing follow-up recommendations to both employers and employees for change in the workplace and recovery from the hostile environment.

 

Bruce KoranskiBruce Koranski has over twenty years of training experience in the areas of cultural diversity, the cultural aspect of international business, and staff development. Mr. Koranski taught for thirteen years at the University of Denver. He currently works with major corporations across the United States developing and providing training. Mr. Koranski has a B.A. in Economics, a teaching certificate in history, and an M.A. in Curriculum Instruction/Cognate in International Studies from the University of Denver.

Désirée LaneDésirée Lane has been involved with Diversity and Multi-cultural work for the better part of her life. Having lived and traveled extensively abroad and spending over 15 years of her career focusing on International Business and Diversity, she has used her expertise to develop curriculum, conduct Cultural Diversity workshops, facilitate training, manage diverse employee, and provide coaching to individuals groups within organizations. Désirée holds a B.S. in Marketing from Metropolitan State College; an MBA in International Business from Regis University; and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education and Human Resource Studies from Colorado State University.

 

Carolyn LangenkampCarolyn Langenkamp is a noted civil rights attorney. She has practiced in the field of sexual harassment and sex discrimination since 1979. Ms. Langenkamp has provided sexual harassment prevention training for managers, human resources representatives, and other lawyers for the past twenty years. Ms. Langenkamp is the 1989 recipient of the Eastern District federal court award for outstanding service to the federal bench. She sits as a temporary judge for the Sacramento County Superior Court. Ms. Langenkamp conducts neutral work place investigations for employers and serves as an expert witness in employment cases.

 

Herbert L. MartinHerbert L. Martin, Ph.D., brings over 15 years of consulting and training experience helping individuals, teams, and organizations reach their maximum potential in the areas of leadership, executive coaching, supervisory/management skills, team building, and sexual harassment and diversity. He has been responsible for the design, development, and implementation of several successful programs for executives, professional athletes, and musicians and is published in these areas. Herb has also consulted and worked with several Fortune 500 companies and with various city, federal, and government agencies. His managerial experience includes director positions of an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in a large metropolitan area and of a managed care company. Herb has taught on both undergraduate and graduate levels. He is also currently on the adjunct staff of the Center for Creative Leadership and is a consultant to the National Football League (NFL). Herb received his bachelor of arts degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. in Psychology from the United States International University.

 

Denise MaterreDenise Materre has been developing teams and leaders as an organizational expert for more than twenty years. Working at all business levels, Denise has utilized her expertise to design and conduct Cultural Diversity workshops, facilitate training, and provide one-on-one Executive coaching to hundreds of business leaders across the United States and Canada. Her focus and her results have positively impacted business, academic, healthcare and non-profit settings, to bring about the full inclusion and effective utilization of all members of the workforce. Taka MurajiTaka Muraji is a native of Japan and an experienced intercultural trainer who has worked both in the U.S. and Japan. Mr. Muraji worked in advertising inJapan and New York City from 1982 till 1996. He consulted with U.S. firms such as Disney and Motorola helping them to establish marketing and advertising plans for Japan.
For the last five years Taka has conducted intercultural business training programs and team-building programs on “Effective Working with Japanese/American Business People,“ “Effective Working with Americans - Understand What Americans Can’t Understand” and “How to Manage Global Business with Westerners” for such clients as WalMart-Seiyu, Yamaha, The Boeing Company, Fuji Heavy Industries, Deloitte & Touche, Nokia and Amgen. Mr. Muraji holds a Masters Degree in Linguistics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

 

Melissa Carice NordMelissa Carice Nord has a multidisciplinary background in psychology, cultural studies, leadership and alternative dispute resolution. She has facilitated diverse groups of citizens involving them in the visioning and governance of their communities, mediated dispute resolutions, developed programs and delivered curriculum and trainings for multiple non-profit organizations and facilitated populations diverse in age, ethnicity, gender, developmental level and perspective. Her skills and approach have positively impacted the business, government, academic and non-profit sectors as well as individual citizens. Ms. Nord has positively contributed to organizations such as the Colorado Bar Association, the National Civic League, the Victim Offender Reconciliation Program, the Downtown Aurora Visual Arts and the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver. Melissa received her formal education from the University of Denver and l’Universite Catholique du l’Ouest in Angers, France. She holds degrees in Psychology and Cultural and Critical Studies.

 

Bruce PfrommerBruce Pfrommer is an independent marketing consultant with over twenty years of corporate sales and training experience. Prior to his private consulting practice he served as vice-president of Graham Advertising responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing solutions for clients while supervising a team of associates doing the same. A primary training focus has been helping associates achieve effectiveness through consultative selling skills. Responsibilities included on-site training of client's management teams and employees in adapting to new marketing philosophies. Additionally, with his organizational human resources experience, Mr. Pfrommer brings a "real world" perspective to harassment compliance training. Mr. Pfrommer earned a B.A. degree from Indiana University in Communications.

 

Andrea PriceAndrea Price is an attorney specializing in employment and education law at Langenkamp and Curtis, LLP, a Group Legal Services firm with the California Teachers Association. Ms. Price has defended teachers in layoff, tenure and discipline matters and has enforced the Education Code rights of teachers. She also represents teachers in issues involving discrimination, harassment and retaliation under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act. Andrea is a 2003 graduate of the King Hall School of Law, University of California at Davis where she was on the Trial Practice Honors Board and worked as a mentor for the King Hall Outreach Program. Ms. Price earned a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in Political Science.

 

Tara PowersTara Powers, M.S., works with companies to develop manager-employee and team relationships as a strategic priority for achieving business growth. With eight years of experience in the Human Resources field, Tara has coached and trained hundreds of managers, trainers, and front line employees on Human Resources topics including diversity awareness, sexual harassment, discrimination, and employment law. Debbie StjernholmDebbie Stjernholm has spent a decade delivering professional consultation and training to employers and community members on sexual harassment and about the impact of domestic violence on children and the workplace. Debbie has provided training to Colorado Law Enforcement regarding the Community Notification of Sexually Violent Predators and has been managing a sex-offense-specific evaluation and treatment program of 15 years. Debbie holds a B.S. in Human Services and a M.A. in Psychology.

 

Marie "Lori" Tapia-PiozetMarie "Lori" Tapia-Piozet is a certified mediator with experience in training, facilitation and organizational design. She has over 36 years of federal sector experience with three federal organizations (U.S. Geological Survey, Internal Revenue Service, and USDA Forest Service). She has served as Chief, Personnel, Chief, Labor Relations, Chief, Multicultural and Diversity, Senior Negotiator, and recently retired from the USDA Forest Service, Region 5, as the Director, Civil Rights. She has been a member of the Federal Executive Board in San Francisco and served as the Chair of the Hispanic Employment Program Managers Council. She has been recognized as a Keynote speaker for several government agencies as well as private organizations on diversity and multicultural issues. She has trained numerous government employees on EEO and labor laws, counseling and investigative skills as well as conflict management. Robert J. WilsonRobert J. Wilson is an attorney in private practice in Tiburon, California. He has over 25 years of teaching and consulting in the areas of labor relations, ADR, EEO and litigation. He is a nationally known authority on federal sector labor relations and EEO. He is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Industrial and labor Relations and the Washington College of Law at American University. Before becoming an attorney he worked as a field examiner for the National Labor Relations Board, as a statistician for the U. S. Dept. of Commerce and as a labor relations specialist for the Internal Revenue Service. Before entering private practice he served for many years as a supervisor and senior attorney for the Office of Chief Counsel for the U.S. Treasury Dept. In that capacity he advised on labor and EEO matters and litigated labor and EEO matters before various administrative bodies, U.S. district courts and courts of appeal.
